Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how CINESLATE handles refunds, cancellations, duplicate payments, trials, subscriptions, and lifetime purchases. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
2. Free Trial
CINESLATE may offer a free trial. If no payment details are collected for the trial, there is nothing to cancel to avoid a charge. If a future plan includes payment details before trial access, the checkout page will explain the trial, renewal, and cancellation terms before purchase.
3. Subscriptions
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew until canceled. You can cancel through your account, the payment provider, or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically refund previous charges unless required by law or approved by CINESLATE support.
4. Refund Requests
To request a refund, contact support@cineslate.app with the email used for purchase, order id if available, license serial if available, purchase date, and reason for the request. We review requests case by case.
5. When Refunds Are Usually Approved
- Duplicate payments or accidental duplicate purchases.
- Billing errors caused by CINESLATE or the payment provider.
- Technical activation problems that support cannot reasonably resolve.
- Unauthorized charges, after reasonable verification.
6. When Refunds May Be Declined
- Change of mind after using the paid product beyond any trial period.
- Failure to cancel before a renewal date after renewal terms were shown.
- Requests tied to misuse, license sharing, policy violations, chargeback abuse, or account suspension.
- Requests where we cannot verify the purchase or account ownership.
7. Lifetime Purchases
Lifetime licenses are one-time purchases for the stated product access, subject to the License Agreement. Because lifetime access is delivered digitally, refunds are generally reviewed case by case, especially for duplicate purchases, billing errors, or unresolved activation issues.
8. Processing Time
If a refund is approved, it is normally sent back through the original payment method. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider controls how long the refund takes to appear.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact support before opening a chargeback so we can investigate and help. Chargebacks may cause the related license, subscription, or account access to be paused while the dispute is reviewed.
